Pray for Haiti

A March 2025 report from the United Nations calls the rapidly deteriorating situation in Haiti a “catastrophe.” Heavily armed gangs are expanding their complete control of Haiti’s capital, Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas, coming closer and impacting areas where Karis Disability Services has worked with local pastors and churches for years.The current situation changes day by day. In each of our locations, there have been times that school has been disrupted or that children we sponsor, their families, and teachers have had to flee to safety. Some schools have changed locations. Recent reports indicate that the violence is spreading close to one large school, an historically peaceful area.
