Global Programs

A world where everybody belongs
At Karis, we believe that people with disabilities belong to communities in which their God-given gifts are valued and celebrated, in Canada and around the world.
For almost 30 years, Karis has been partnering with pastors, educators, and leaders in other countries, promoting belonging and inclusion in communities. This work is 100% donor-funded, and would not be possible without your faithful generosity!
Through regular donations throughout the year, our partners around the world have the resources to:
Send a child with a disability to school for the first time.
Equip people with disabilities and their family members to start their own businesses.
Strengthen their community to care for those who are vulnerable.
Invest in accessible education so students for generations can go to school with their peers, and learn and play.

Your donation
You can give the gift of belonging to people with disabilities around the world. When you donate or sponsor a child, you give somebody better access to their communities through education, assistive devices, and other tools they need to thrive.
What are the greatest needs that your donation will support?
-
Did you know that there are almost 240 million children with disabilities around the world, and half of those children have never been to a school before?
Through donations and child sponsorship, you can send a child to school in an inclusive classroom where teachers have the tools and resources to make sure everybody can learn, grow, and belong.Donating to inclusive education also helps build accessible classrooms, trains teachers to accommodate students of all needs, and provides supplies so kids with disabilities can learn with everybody else.
-
Be a part of a changed world! When you support inclusive community development, you help local leaders reach more people in their communities.
This important community outreach includes equipping people with disabilities with valuable business and advocacy training, and at-home visits where leaders can provide emergency needs like food, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices.
