Child Sponsorship
Children need your help!
When you sponsor a child, you help uplift an entire community.
For $41 a month, you can give a child, their family, and their community the right tools to thrive. The money you give to sponsor a child will go toward food, tuition, medicine, and school supplies.
Beyond child sponsorship, we also work in six countries around the world, focusing on accessible education and inclusive development. Visit our global programs page to read more!

Testimonials
Bisrat's story
Inclusive education can be life-changing for children and for entire families, like Bisrat and his mother, Wegene.
Yusuf's story
Two years ago, if you mentioned the word “school” around Yusuf, his shoulders would drop, he’d avert his eyes and become immediately panicked. Today, Yusuf is in primary school and he loves it!
Frequently asked questions
-
We work with local community leaders to identify the children with the highest needs for support. We ‘promote communities where everybody belongs’, therefore we intentionally seek children and families who are impacted by disability, poverty, and a general lack of community access.
We do not consider a child’s religious background or affiliation – any child can be sponsored! -
While we do prioritize children with disabilities throughout our sponsorship programs, not every child has a disability. Sometimes, it is the child’s parent or caregiver who has a disability, sometimes it is simply a child in need in that same community.
In many towns and villages where we have child sponsorship programs, we partner with one of the few schools in operation.
This allows us to support a foundation of education that is accessible from the start – so when children with disabilities in those communities come to school, there is already an established program ready to welcome them! -
Your sponsorship will provide a source of financial stability for your sponsored child and their family, providing necessities like school tuition, medical treatment, food, and clothing.
Part of the sponsorship funds will also go toward strengthening accessible education, vocational training, and promoting community disability awareness, inclusion and investing in sustainability within that child’s own community. -
Programming in your sponsored child’s community is unique to the needs identified by the local leadership. Examples of programs include nutrition support, before and after school tutoring, spiritual growth activities like Bible studies, and children’s camps. There are also programs for parents and caregivers, like savings and business training.
These are valuable programs that help to build community and strengthen relationships. -
Support is based on a stage of life, not age. A person can remain supported through the program as long as they are attending school, or into young adulthood if they have a disability.
-
Yes. Tax receipts are issued annually for all sponsorship donations and can arrive via mail or email.
