Global Programs
A better world, thanks to you!
Thank you for creating a whole world where everybody belongs! When you donate, volunteer, and pray for Karis Disability Services Global, you help provide support to over 300,000 people in over 70 communities in Ethiopia, Guatemala, Haiti, Kenya, Nicaragua, and Uganda.
We fund and partner with local faith-based leaders in these 6 countries to provide support for people with disabilities and their whole community. These partners take the initiative to make the future brighter!
Through your support, our partners around the world have the resources to:
Send a child with a disability to school for the first time.
Equip people with disabilities to start their own businesses.
Strengthen their community to care for those who are vulnerable.
Your gift of belonging
Child sponsorship
Child sponsorship gives you the chance to walk alongside a child, their family, and their community. When you sponsor a child, your money goes directly to meeting their practical needs, like tuition, food, and
medicine.
Your donation
You can give the gift of belonging to people with disabilities around the world. When you donate or sponsor a child, you give somebody better access to their communities through education, assistive devices, and other tools they need to thrive.
What are the greatest needs that your donation will support?
-
Did you know that there are almost 240 million children with disabilities around the world, and half of those children have never been to a school before?
Through donations and child sponsorship, you can send a child to school in an inclusive classroom where teachers have the tools and resources to make sure everybody can learn, grow, and belong.Donating to inclusive education also helps build accessible classrooms, trains teachers to accommodate students of all needs, and provides supplies so kids with disabilities can learn with everybody else.
-
Be a part of a changed world! When you support inclusive community development, you help local leaders reach more people in their communities.
This important community outreach includes equipping people with disabilities with valuable business and advocacy training, and at-home visits where leaders can provide emergency needs like food, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices.

Corina's story
Corina was one of the first sponsored children to graduate at the school Karis Disability Services helped build in El Campanero, Guatemala. Today, she is a teacher there.
Endenat's story
“I was the only disabled child at my school, and there was no room for me,” Endenat told us. “I cried every day when I left school. And I did not go back for five years.”
