Understanding human behaviour

The most successful people in this world have one thing in common: they understand people. You can too! With the DiSC Classic Profile and a few simple steps, you can improve your communication with others. Build stronger working relationships and increase your performance in both your professional and personal life.

Time management for modern hybrid work

In this course, you will establish control over your time while resisting the perpetual cycle of speed for speed's sake, by looking at individual time effectiveness in twelve critical areas. You will also develop customized strategies for improving their personal productivity. Participants will analyze their time use, conquer procrastination, master paperwork, establish clear goals, and determine how to accomplish more with your time.

Leading people to effectiveness

You will explore how you approach the most fundamental work of leaders: creating a vision, building alignment around that vision, and championing execution of the vision. In advance of the workshop, you will be required to complete an online assessment – Everything DiSC Work of Leaders. You will be asked to provide a personal email address to complete this assessment.

Team building and team dimensions

A team challenge doesn’t have to be challenging. Begin to appreciate the value of teamwork and understand the synergy that a well-organized team creates. Highlights include: appreciating diversity, clarifying roles, stages of team development, and fostering characteristics of high-performing teams.

Conflict is natural and, if embraced, has an untapped potential for igniting innovative change. If ignored and handled incorrectly, conflict can unleash a destructive force within your organization. Learn how to correctly respond to conflict and take advantage of the positive potential that exists when conflicts occur at work.

Cancellation/missed courses refund policy

1) If Karis Disability Services cancels a course, a full refund will be made to all participants.

2) If a participant cancels their registration for a course in writing by emailing learning@karis.org, or the participants registration is cancelled as a result of unmet required prerequisites, the following conditions will be applied to their refund.

3) If the participant does not attend a course without prior notice in writing to learning@karis.org, no refund will be applied.
