Karis Windsor provides opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to try new things, experience inclusion in the community, and make friendships that last a lifetime. Qualified, passionate, and experienced staff lead experiences for people to learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and engaging environment during daytime hours. We also offer programs, social activities, workshops, and respite opportunities during night and weekend hours.
Karis Windsor can accommodate up to 25 people for daytime programs. While most people are supported in a 1:4 ratio, specialized and concentrated support can be available.
Activities include, but are not limited to:
Education, life skills, literacy, entrepreneurship, and employment skill-building
Recreation such as swimming, fitness, bowling, billiards, and other games
Trips to the community and partnerships with local agencies and businesses
Volunteer and service-learning opportunities
Opportunities to socialize, meet others, and make friends in a fun and safe environment.
